circa 1972, 21 5/8in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2023) engraved 'CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD. 7, BURY STREET, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON, ENGLAND.', and 'CALIBRE .270', open sights with two folding leaf sights marked for 100, 200 and 300 yds, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the receiver mounted with a B. Nickel 2,5-7x E/S telescopic sight, serial no. 437133, the receiver (with thumb cutout), receiver ring and butterknife bolt handle boldly carved in relief with scrolling acanthus on a matted background, hinged straddle floorplate and triggerguard engraved en suite and with the model designation and serial number, tang side safety, double set triggers, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece and raised comb, engraved pistolgrip-cap (with trap), sling eyes, 15in. pull including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 2oz., together with two sighting targets, braided leather sling and spare telescopic sight rings
